How we handle personal data submitted through icomp.ge — what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
This policy explains how we collect and process personal data on the icomp.ge website.
The data controller is ICOMP LLC, Tbilisi, Georgia — email [email protected].
We process data in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.
What we collect
Data you provide through forms. When you fill in the contact form or a request form (e.g. for cameras, networking, IT support or automation), we receive:
- first and last name;
- phone number;
- email address;
- company name (if provided);
- the message text and the technical options selected in the form (e.g. site type, number of floors, preferred timeline).
Technical data. When a request is submitted, the following is recorded automatically: date and time, the page the form was sent from, the interface language and the IP address. We use the IP address only to protect against spam and automated abuse (request rate limiting).
Server logs. The web server records requests (IP, browser type, requested address) as standard, for security and troubleshooting.
What we do not collect
- the site has no advertising tracking (Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing or similar), and we use no analytics that links you across visits (e.g. Google Analytics) — see visit statistics below;
- we do not collect special categories of data (health, beliefs, biometrics, etc.) — please do not include such information in the forms;
- we do not sell or trade data with third parties.
Visit statistics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate visit statistics (page views, referrers, browser type and country). It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and does not link you across visits — the data is available only in aggregate, without identifying individual visitors.
To collect it, a Cloudflare script is loaded in your browser from static.cloudflareinsights.com.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Only functional values are stored locally in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage) and are never sent to the server:
- the industry you selected on the home page — so your recommendations persist on the next visit;
- items you ticked in checklists;
- the fact that you have already seen a notice — so it is not shown again.
You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings (clear site data).
Why and on what basis we process data

Sending a request does not subscribe you to marketing. We will only send you news if you separately agree to it.
Who the data is shared with
Data is accessible to the ICOMP LLC staff member handling your request. In addition, the following are technically involved:
- hosting provider — the server where the site and a copy of submitted requests are stored;
- email provider — form submissions are delivered to our corporate mailbox;
- Cloudflare — the CDN and security provider that every request to the site passes through (including your IP address) and which produces the aggregate visit statistics.
These providers act on our instructions and do not use the data for their own purposes. Data is not otherwise disclosed to third parties, except where required by law (e.g. a lawful request from an authorised body).
How long we keep it
- requests that did not lead to cooperation — up to 12 months, then deleted;
- client correspondence and documents — for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for the period required by Georgian law;
- server logs — for a short period, for security purposes.
After the retention period, data is deleted.
Security
We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access restricted to authorised staff and standard server protection measures. The forms are protected by rate limiting and a spam filter.
Please note that transmission over the internet can never be completely secure. Do not enter passwords, card details or other confidential credentials into the forms.
Your rights
Under Georgian law, you have the right to:
- find out whether we process your data and which data;
- request a copy;
- request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure or the cessation of processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To make a request, write to [email protected]. We will respond within the period set by law.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you may contact the supervisory authority for personal data protection — the State Audit Office of Georgia (pdp.sao.ge) — or the courts.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update.
